The Last Soldier is a set of four Half-Life 2 single-player maps created by Hamatdinov Radik and released on December 29th, 2009.
The gameplay consists of fighting an army consisting almost entirely of Combine Soldiers that appear at elevated heights above you. The maps are very short and some of the enemies to not appear to respond to you in an intelligent manner.

Bugs & Issues
- Creator of the map did not buildcubemaps on export of the map so lighting of models is inaccurate by default. To solve this, use the console command: buildcubemaps.
- Some triggers do not function properly, for example, the ending trigger will not work if you kill the combine before stepping into the open grassy area.
Secrets & Easter Eggs
There exists a couple secrets and easter eggs contained in the set of maps, like the following examples:
 Gman spotted in an area only viewable with noclip enabled, or jumping at a certain vantage point. |
 Secret door and area filled with lots of equipment directly to the left of the dark corridor you start in. |
