Internet Archive Wayback Machine is a website dedicated to archiving website content and data through the Archive.org service. First started in 1996, the Internet Archive Wayback Machine now archives over 150 billion web pages.

Normally, the service archives websites on a regular basis (usually monthly) but also denotes in its listing if a website has changed since the previous archive. Material typically becomes available six months after collection.

Use on Half-Life Library

Internet Archive Wayback Machine is an important tool for Half-Life Library because we often use it to refer back to old modifications or third-party content created for Half-Life when the resources or data are no longer available elsewhere on the internet.
